Funeral Mass Information for Mary Campitiello RIP . . . Update 05/31/2023
Please pray for the repose of the soul of parishioner Mary Campitiello, wife of Larry Campitiello, who passed away May 26th. The funeral Mass will be held at San Rafael Monday, June 19th, at 11:00 a.m. A Rosary will be said prior to Mass at 10:30am. Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her. May her soul and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God rest in peace. Amen. Please keep in your prayers the repose of the soul of Mary Campitiello who passed into eternal rest on May 26, 2023. She is the wife of Former Vice Supreme Master Larry Campitiello. Brother Larry is a Honorary Life Member of Valley of the Angels Council 9710 and Father Joseph T. O'Callahan Assembly 2652 both located in San Diego. Funeral arrangements will be announced when completed and will likely include a Province-wide honor guard call-out. Please keep in your prayers the following who are in need of the healing powers of Our Heavenly Father: Sir Knight Dan Loyer who is recovering from heart bypass surgery. Brother Dan is a Past Grand Knight and the current Financial Secretary for Stella Maris Council 3772 in San Clemente, and a member in good standing of Santiago De Compostela Assembly 2305 in Mission Viejo. Please pray also for his wife Kathy and the entire Loyer family during this anxious time. Sir Knight Maurice "Mo" Lessard who suffered a recent stroke and has been hospitalized. Brother Mo is a Past President of Arrowhead-Desert Valley Chapter, a member of Fray Garces Council 1830 and the Former Faithful Comptroller for Joseph Scott Assembly 79, both located in Barstow. Please pray also for his wife Linda and the entire Lessard family. Sir Knight James Calacal who suffered a recent stroke and has been hospitalized. Brother James is a member of Saint Andrew Council 11400 in Daly City and the current Color Corp Commander for Saint Francis Assembly 43 in San Francisco. Brother Basilico is a Past Grand Knight of Saint Francis of Assisi Council 8800 in Fillmore and the Faithful Navigator of Mission Buenavebtura Assembly 82 in Ventura. Please pray the Blessed Michael McGivney will lead his mother into the loving arms of Our Heavenly Father while providing comfort and solace to Brother Basilico and the entire Yzaguirre family. Sir Knight Heracleo "Cleo" Ordonez who recently passed into eternal rest following a long battle with cancer. Brother Cleo was a Marshal of the Northern District Fourth Degree and a member of Saint Catherine of Siena Council 14836 and Mark G. Thompsom Assembly 2548, both located in Vallejo. Please pray the Blessed Michael McGivney will lead him into the loving arms of Our Heavenly Father while providing comfort and solace to his family and many friends. Sir Knight Jack Nunes, Brother Louis Abba and Past Grand Knight Sir Knight Walt Dawson who are all experiencing serious health issues. All are members of Saint Joachim Council 14247 in Lockford. Brothers Jack Nunes and Walt Dawson are also members in good standing of O'Conner Assembly 48 in Stockton. Please pray for the repose of the souls of the following: Sir Knight Michael C. Gutierrez who passed into eternal rest on April 23, 2023 following a brief illness. Brother Mike was a Past Grand Knight, Former District Deputy and Honorary Life Member of Sacred Heart Council 7260 in Anderson where he was serving as Financial Secretary at the time of his death. He was also a Past Faithful Navigator and Honorary Life Member of David F. Supple Assembly 84 in Redding. Brother Mike, affectionately known as "Iron Mike'', became a Knight in 1964. He served his country as a Lieutenant in the Marine Corp during the Vietnam conflict. Please keep in your prayers his wife Lady Ellen and the entire Gutierrez family as they mourn his loss. His Excellency The Most Reverend Patrick Joseph McGrath, Bishop Emeritus of San Jose, who passed into eternal rest on Sunday, May 7, 2023. His Excellency entered St. John Seminary, Waterford, Ireland in 1964 and was ordained to the priesthood on June 7, 1970. He subsequently served in the Archdiocese of San Francisco where he was ordained Auxiliary Bishop of San Francisco on January 25, 1989. Upon the retirement of His Excellency The Most Reverend Pierre DuMaine, Bishop of San Jose, on November 27, 1999, Bishop Patrick Joseph McGrath became the second bishop of San José serving in that capacity for nearly twenty years. Let us offer our prayers for the consolation of his family and his friends. Sir Knight Jacob "Jake" Rivera who recently passed into eternal rest at 84 years of age. He was a member of Assumption Council 3368 at Saint Rose of Lima Parish in Chula Vista and Ferdinand Magellan Assembly 2063. Our Sister in Christ Martha Rodriguez who passed into eternal rest on May 8, 2023 following a three-year battle with cancer. She was the wife of Former District Deputy Sir Knight Jorge Rodriguez. Brother Jorge is a Past Grand Knight of Los Crusados Council 1990 in Redondo Beach and a Past Faithful Navigator and the current Faithful Purser of Father Hawe Assembly 45 in Santa Monica. Please keep Brother Jorge and the entire Rodriguez family in your prayers during this difficult time. Brother Joel Cinco who was recently hospitalized with a severe stomach ailment. He has since been discharged and is now home under observation and recuperating. Brother Joel is one of the newest members of Saint Jane Frances De Chantal Council 16687 in North Hollywood. Please pray that Blessed Michael McGivney will intercede curing his ills and providing for his rapid recovery. Please pray also for Brother Joel's wife, Fe, during this difficult time. Brother Paul Abeyta who passed into eternal rest on April 24, 2023 at 87 years of age. He was a Past Grand Knight, Honorary Life and Charter Member of Saint Patrick Council 10925 in Moreno Valley. He is survived by his wife, Nancy, and several family members including his three daughters. His funeral will be on Thursday, May 11, 2023 at 10:00 AM at Saint Patrick Church, 10915 Pigeon Pass Road in Moreno Valley. Interment will follow at 1:00 PM at Riverside National Cemetery, 22495 Van Buren Boulevard in Riverside. Please pray the Blessed Michael McGivney will lead him into the loving arms of Our Heavenly Father while providing comfort and solace to his family and friends.
